  1. 01

    Connect securely

Paste a restricted Stripe key with read access. Your key is used for this scan only and is never stored.

  2. 02

    Understand the risk

We read subscriptions and invoices, identify decline reasons, and separate Stripe retries from cases that need your attention.

  3. 03

    Take your findings with you

Review your results first. Enter your email and company only when you want the Excel or CSV report.

Each Stripe account gets full results and exports on 5 separate UTC days. Repeat scans on the same day use no extra credit (up to 5 scans per hour). Test-mode scans use no credits. After that, headline totals remain available. Each scan covers up to 500 at-risk subscriptions.

Stripe payment recovery, explained

Learn more about payment recovery

What does this free Stripe recovery tool analyze?

Recover reads past-due and unpaid Stripe subscriptions and the invoices attached to them. It shows at-risk monthly recurring revenue (MRR), outstanding amounts, payment failure reasons, overdue days and a ranked recovery list. Because it measures recurring revenue, it only looks at subscriptions: a one-off invoice that failed outside a subscription will not appear, even if it is still open. It is a point-in-time audit, not a payment collection service.

Will the tool retry payments or email my customers?

No. This tool only reads your Stripe data. It does not charge customers, retry invoices or send recovery messages. The results help you decide which customers to contact and which payments Stripe is already retrying.

How do the five free runs work?

The allowance covers five separate UTC days per Stripe account. The first successful scan on a new day uses one credit; more scans that day use no additional credit, subject to five scans per hour. Test-mode scans do not spend credits. Headline totals remain available after the allowance is used.

Do I need to provide an email before seeing my results?

No. Connect your Stripe key and review the results without signing up. Email and company name are requested only when you export, and the report downloads straight away.

Is at-risk MRR the same as money owed?

No. At-risk MRR normalizes subscription revenue to a monthly amount. Outstanding amounts represent unpaid invoice balances. Neither figure guarantees that the money can be recovered, and priority scores are a guide rather than a recovery prediction.
