From a Stripe key to a list of cards to fix

  1. 01

    Connect securely

Paste a restricted Stripe key with read access. Your key is used for this scan only and is never stored.

  2. 02

We read the cards on file

Every active, past-due or trialing subscription is matched to its default card. We keep the ones expiring within 3 months or already expired, and value them at their monthly price.

  3. 03

    Take it with you

Review your results first. Enter your email and company only when you want the Excel or CSV export.

Each Stripe account gets full results and exports on 5 separate UTC days. Repeat scans on the same day use no extra credit (up to 5 scans per hour). Test-mode scans use no credits. After that, headline totals remain available. Each scan covers up to 5,000 live subscriptions.

What does this free Stripe tool show?

Expire reads your active, past-due and trialing Stripe subscriptions and the default card attached to each (on the subscription, or on the customer as a fallback). It keeps the cards that expire within the next 3 months or have already expired, values each subscription at its current monthly price (yearly ÷ 12, coupons applied) and groups the result by month and by product.

Will every one of these cards really decline?

No, and that is the point of checking early. Card networks and Stripe's automatic card updater refresh many expiring cards silently, so this list is exposure, not a certain loss. The "expired" bucket is the one to act on first: those cards are already past their date and the next renewal will fail unless the network updated them.

Why does a card expiring this month still count as valid?

A card is valid through the last day of its expiry month. A card marked 10/2026 works until October 31, 2026, so it sits in "this month" rather than "expired" until November.

Which subscriptions are not included?

Subscriptions billed by invoice, by bank debit, wallet or any non-card method have no expiry date and are skipped, as are canceled subscriptions. Large accounts are read up to 5,000 subscriptions.

Do I need to provide an email before seeing my results?

No. Connect your Stripe key and review the results without signing up. Email and company name are requested only when you export, and the file downloads straight away.
